"You, by association, stabbed me." (Week 74)
Let me tell y'all a little bit about my week.
Monday we went shopping, I bought German honey sticks. I have become obsessed with honey for those of you who don't know. I now collect it.
Tuesday was an awesome day with free speech finding and service and institute.
Wednesday we went on exchanges, and I realized it had been a while since I've taught a classic Louisianan. I have been in ysa for a while so the only people I teach are educated young adults. But it was nice to hear a real cajun accent and misunderstand half of what they are saying even though they are speaking English.
Thursday we had a zone council thing. It's like zone conference but we sit in a circle and we all talk rather than them talking at us. It was pretty cool and I learned a lot. Then I had my go home interview with President Varner and he asked me how I felt about the next covenant on the covenant path aka marriage so that was interesting. He gave some really good advice though, about staying close to the spirit so that I can have confidence when I am actually making that decision of who.
Then that night we found out that our roommate Sister Titcomb was being ETed because another girls comp is getting surgery so she packed all night and it was really sad. She wasn't supposed to start packing before me.
Friday was Sister Curzons birthday and our bishop and wife took us out to hibachi and it was awesome!
Saturday we did service helping with the Bishops Storehouse early in the morning. Then Caleb whom the elders had been teaching got baptized! THEN we got to go down to New Orleans AGAIN to sing for a black history celebration at a Baptist church!!! I have been so blessed with all the fun things.
Sunday I got sick. Not really fun. But we showed the restoration at the institute building and we had two of our friends that we are teaching come!!
Guess what? I am now to the point where I can say to those at home I WILL SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!!! My weekly next week will probably be all sappy so I will just say I love y'all and I love the Lord and I will see y'all soon!
The following is all out of context quotes from when my companion took her sleeping pill and had a conversation with us in her sleep. Please enjoy:
"What is the ninth planet? Pluto or kolob?"
"I picture her marrying someone that smiles a lot, to the point that it creeps people out."
"Her kids are going to be like little tinker bells, screaming and singing and praising for no reason."
"As I was taking my poop this morning I was like why can't babies come out of here? Because I know it would fit."
(speaking of people who eat their own placenta) "You are eating the artichoke heart of your uterus, that's gross."
"You are speaking a forage language right now."
" You are sticking your nose in and out of my ear canal."
"You can call me sand paper, or toast."
"Your kids would be a combination of sunshine and rainbows and anger."
