"Who gets strepp in their ankle??" (Week 71)
Hi hi hi hi hi! Guess what? One month from today, I will be able to hug
my family again. But I'm going to live up mission life until that day.
Some stories from this week:
The screamers came to Free Speech Alley for the first time since I've been here. They are these old dudes that come and yell at everyone. They had two signs. One said "ask me why you deserve hell" and "be a ho no mo." They didn't yell at us, but they sure didn't bring the spirit.
We had a mission conference with a general authority Elder Foster. It was half of the mission all combined, and we were asked to sing for it. It was slightly stressful to sing for a member of the 70, but it went really well.
During zone conference I was expecting elder foster to talk mostly about things that apply to new missionaries, but then he got up and said "some of you will soon say your last prayer as a full time missionary. What are you going to say?" and for a moment there I stopped breathing. I was not expecting that. I hope that when that time comes, I can say that I did my best, that I loved the people, that I learned, and that I am grateful for the experiences He gave me.
We have two girls that are really close to baptism. One of them is technically the Elders, but we are helping. We had a bonfire activity with the YSA and I got the entire conversion story of that girl up to that point and I feel so much closer to her now than I had before. She is amazing and I am rooting for her baptism so much. Hopefully that will be coming soon.
That's about what's going on! Things are great! I'm only going to send about 4 more of these. That's weird. Love yall so much!!
Out of context quotes:
"Who gets strepp in their ankle??"
"You have some attributes of Satan."
"I'm not Hannah, I'm depressed."
"Some things are worth melting for, and it's not a freaking hotdog let me tell you."
