"Mercury, Venus, Deuteronomy..." (week 61)

Hi :)

Monday was a day chalk full of volleyball. Still not very good at that one.

Tuesday we actually had a really good turn out at institute. That was happy.

Wednesday was zone conference aka best day of the transfer. I love hanging out with friends. Probably my biggest takeaway from zone conference was a quote from President Varner, "focus on who you are becoming, rather than what you aren't doing." I want y'all to think on that because that's powerful. It is a more positive process of change.

Thursday my companion was sick, which happens.

Friday our weekly planning session took 5ever. Then we went to visit people and it was cold and we listened to Christmas music and it was magical.

Saturday we tracted for a while and found 2 people!! One of them is named Moniquea and I am so excited about her. She asked all the right questions and is clearly prepared. Pray for her y'all!!

Sunday we walked somewhere between 6 and 7 miles. I have never walked that much in one day on my mission. (I usually have a car) But we found another person to teach and found lots of potentials and someone came to church and it was basically a miracle day.

Okay now I am about to go off on a tangent. Tomorrow I will have been on my mission for 14 months, and it also marks 100 days left on my mission. Some people will call me trunky for saying this. But knowing how little time I truly have is a huge source of motivation for me. I want to make each day count. I want to come home a changed person. Still myself, but better, stronger, more loving, and closer to the Savior. I have already learned so much about life and the gospel, but I know I still can learn lots more. Lately I have found new life in the work, and I actually like tracting! (only took me 14 months lol) So I am so excited to see what all I can do in these next 100 days:) I love y'all and I will talk to you soon!!
