"I ministered in the Lord's way and went to Fiiz." (week 62)
Monday was pretty chill. We emailed then got lunch with some friends:)
Honestly it was a party. After that the quadpan just kind of chilled.
Tuesday we walked and walked and walked like those pioneer children. Another 6 miles. It was pretty fun though. We tried to rescue a stray kitten, and I got some cool pics.
Wednesday was district council. One elder has a tendency to quote entire scenes from Disney movies and it is pretty entertaining. Who needs movies when you have Elder Erickson. Then we had some appointments and tracting and honestly I can't really remember the details.
Thursday we had service, the most awesome lesson with the most awesome girl we are teaching, then weekly planning. Then some members took us to get seafood and it was delicious and I am really going to miss fresh seafood.
Friday we went to lunch with a member and the Elders and it was pretty chill. Then we tracted and tried some formers and went to a WEDDING!! It was so beautiful. Chris and Hayley from my last area got married so we snuck over (with permission) for an hour to see their wedding and I loved it. They are so sweet.
Saturday we did yard work with the branch. Then a tailgating activity. Then an appointment. Then that night we went to a mission call opening at the most beautiful mansion and I was in heaven.
Sunday was some tracting and we actually got like 3 people. So that's great. We were teaching these teenage girls, and the older girls eyes completely lit up when I told her that God knows her name. I testified that God knows her personally, and that made her really happy. Then we went to this interfaith Thanksgiving service and they had the most amazing choir!! It was so fun.
This was kind of a longer one. I hope y'all are doing well and rocking it in the various parts of the world that y'all are in. I am so happy to be here in the South. I love you!!!!!
