Sometimes coming up with email titles is really hard (Week 56)
The absolute worst part of writing a weekly email is deciding how to open it.
Monday we had a totally lit day going to a pumpkin patch. The only not fun part is that it is still like 90 degrees here so we almost passed out in the corn maze. Crisp fall air isn't a thing here. But we got lots of pictures and it was fun:)
So do you remember creepy guy who lives in a shack in the middle of the woods that we taught last week? So he is actually an inactive member (and the brother of an active member) that we are reactivating, and turns out that he is in love with me and told his brother that he has decided to marry me😖 Sister White keeps telling me flirt to convert but I just don't think I can take that one for the team.
This week we went down to Baton Rouge for the third time this transfer because I have been having a bad reaction to some medicine, so we went to the doctor. I got some new stuff and that should help me not get sick so much.
And this weekend was the Tour de General Conference. We went to a different house for every session. We are just so popular and everyone knows conference is more spiritual with the Sisters over. I L O V E C O N F E R E N C E. It is like a holiday and every time I never want it to end. I really connected with Elder Rasband's talk. I have been dealing with a lot of anxiety lately, so his message on not fearing and trusting in the Lord is something I needed to hear. Everyone reread conference like asap.
Also cool story: So our family that we are teaching have been getting anti from a lot of people. Well on Sunday they got in an argument with a neighbor who said that he was going to call child protective services on them to take their kids away because they are joining a cult and need to be stopped😶 But when Kenny told us about that, instead of being mad, he said that that just fueled his testimony, that if Satan is fighting this hard then it HAS to be true. After this he went on Facebook and posted his testimony. He is pretty much saying "come at me bro" to the devil. They are amazing.
Okay this I long enough. I love you all so much!! Talk to you next week (which will be Tuesday because transfers are next week). Byeeeeee.
