"I've been out a year but we don't talk about that" (Week 53)
I know I say this every week, but this week really was crazy!
Monday was pretty awesome. We played games and talked and it was just nice.
Tuesday was good too. We taught this lady who has that elephant disease and she is so cool! Then we had a cool miracle with the Harrison family that we are teaching, Kenny and Jasmine and the kids. We'll they were talking about so questions they had for us, and suddenly we walked through some trees towards their house and Kenny actually said that he felt like he saw God when he saw us. ❤️
Wednesday was awesome district meeting, then Jeff's baptismal interview. He passed!! Then we saw the Harrisons again and had an awesome lesson about temples and eternal family and they totally see that as their main goal now.
Thursday was my ONE YEAR MARK! It was a lot of meetings for most of the day. But then the district came and we had a little overpriced frozen yogurt party!
Friday we did service at bishops storehouse, and then I got like really sick and was out for most of the day.
Saturday I was still out for the morning. Then we had JEFF'S BAPTISM!! Whoohoo! It went so well. I was just really happy. He has changed so much. After the baptism we had a lesson with a recent convert who is getting hit hard by Satan. Then we went to an awesome Spanish party and had a fun photoshoot. Then we had a miracle lesson with the Harrisons and Kenny got a blessing and they have just progressed so much.
Sunday Jeff got confirmed. Then Kenny almost had a panic attack so they went home. Then our recent convert had a break down at church so we talked with her for a while. Then we went by to check on the Harrisons and we had a really sweet moment there. Jasmine started crying for the first time, and told us that we always show up right when they need us, and that she knows this is all true, and soon we were all crying and it was really sweet.
So yeah this has been fun. Up and down, but mostly up:) I really am so happy to be out here. I just LOVE the people we are working with. I don't ever want to go home. The church is really true y'all! I love y'all so much! Byeeeeeee😄
