I have that Benjamin Button thing, where I become a gradual old baby. (Week 50)
Hi hi family and friends!! What is up? Things are good here. I'm a fancy adult now so that's cool.
Monday we finally did something for P-day! We went to the zoo!! I have already been there, but we went as a district and it was nice to hang out with some friends. We went on the little zoo train and it took us past this awesome swamp which honestly was the coolest part.
Tuesday was a mess. I was in the heat too long and that isn't good for my head and despite all the meds I took it just got worse and we had to be inside most of the day.
Wednesday was pretty great. After district council we had exchanges, and I want back to my baby area in Baton Rouge for the day with Sister Trussel. We visited a bible referral and got her and her foster children PUMPED about the Book of Mormon. We also had dinner with some of my favorite members.
Thursday was another good one. We did service at my old home the Old State Capital. One of the elders showed us the dungeon, and I have no idea how he knew where that was. We also did a thing where we talk about goals and all that jazz. Then when we got back to our own area, we had a really cool lesson with Zuleyka and Jacob and some members. It turned into a sort of testimony meeting where everyone talked about Christ's Atonement and the power of the Book of Mormon. Zuleyka was crying so I took that as a good sign.
Friday I had my first surprise party:) My mom had ordered a cake and had it delivered to the church, knowing that I was planning on being there that day, so some of the office couples decided to make it a full party and ordered pizza:) It was so cute and it made me so happy. Thanks Mom!! ❤️❤️ After that we did weekly planning, some contacting, some tracting, some rejection, some laughing about it, and a dinner appointment.
Saturday was my BIRTHDAY!! It started out really good, then got hard, then was good. In the morning I opened presents:) Then we went out to find some lost members and do some tracting, and no one was happy to see us. Lots of rejection. But I did my best to push through. But then we had a really fun dinner appointment with Chinese food and cake and that made me feel better:)
Sunday Zuleyka and Jacob came to church again so that's awesome!! Everyone just loves them. After church we visited some less actives, and had more birthday cake at our dinner appointment.
So another week down! Thank you to everyone that sent me birthday messages! They really mean so much. I will talk to yall next week!! LOVE Y'ALL!!
