"I'm going to flash freeze my armpits and hope this solves my problems." (Week 37)

Hi my family and friends! (Some people are both:) How is everyone? Shout out to my brother because his BIRTHDAY is on THURSDAY and he is turning 16!!! Oh my heck you are so old. Love you bro!! Also shout out to my sister who is getting MARRIED THIS WEEK! I love you Whitney!!

Monday was a pretty good pday. We got food, then explored Walmart with the Elders, then we got frozen yogurt which is always the best. They only had forks though. Then we contacted some referrals that night.

Tuesday we drove down to Alexandria for zone conference. It was really good but really long. We did about a million role plays. But it was good practice. Then we stayed at the church for a while after waiting to do interviews with Pres. Interviews are always really fun for me. Then all the sisters in the zone (there are 4 companionships in all. So small) went out to eat at 5 guys and it was a total party. Those ladies are so funny.

Wednesday we stayed in Alexandia for exchanges, and I had a delightful time. We went to a museum and did service and I got to see cool vintage medical supplies. Then we worked on creating our 72 hour kits like the prophets and mission leaders have counciled😉 We had some awesome study and tracted into a lot of old Catholics. Then my favorite part was all the missionaries, elders and sisters, were at the church eating the left over pizzas from the youth activity and we quizzed each other on deep doctrine questions and I was laughing a lot.

Thursday we had some cool blessings. We had an appointment to bring a bible to a referral, and she just happened to not feel great so her daughter happened to be there helping her and she happened to listen to our lesson about the Book of Mormon and she happened to love it! God is real. She is so cute and just seemed so excited about learning more. When we asked if we could come back she said "of course!!" before we could even finish the sentence. The other cool blessing is that our 5:30 appointment cancelled, and I had the thought to visit a part member family. They didn't answer at first, and as I was driving away we got a phone call and I pulled over. Then while we were on the phone the wife ran out and told us to come inside and she ended up feeding us! She has the most adorable house and is so sweet.

Friday Jensen was sick so she slept while I wrote letters. Eventually she felt good enough to weekly plan, then we went and taught a lesson, then we had dinner with the ward mission leaders family he brought an investigator friend :)

Saturday we got like 4 new investigators! 3 of them are girls in the same family but still. The 4th one was a Bible referral that we had a bomb Book of Mormon lesson with and she seemed really excited to read.

Sunday my favorite part of the day was when the bread wasn't there for the sacrament so we almost sang all 7 verses of How Firm A Foundation while waiting.

Monday was proslyting Monday because of Memorial Day. We had district meeting, then we drove for a long time contacting people in the more "out there" parts of our area. And we found 2 investigators and 2 more potential investigators!! Whoohoo!! These people just keep popping up and it's amazing!

So it was a pretty good week:) Hope everything goes well this week for everyone. Especially with the wedding!! I love you all so so so much!!

Out of context quotes;

"Marriage isn't a friend group until you have children."

"I'm going to flash freeze my armpits and hope this solves my problems."

"No! Be ashamed of my accomplishments!"

"I'm making a rule that whenever you start roasting me I'm going to sing 'where can I turn for peace' because I am NOT finding solace in this company."

"Do you think titanium dioxide is good for me?"

"Along with baptism can we set a goal for how many people I'm going to marry this week?"
