"Can't rub that covenant off." (Week 33)

Hey hey family and friends. This week is transfers. I am staying in Natchitoches, and I am getting Sister Jensen! I actually came out with her and I just love her.

Tuesday was pretty solid. We had district meeting, then we visited with some people in a retirement home. Then we tracted and found some people then taught a couple lessons with investigators.

Wednesday we had Free Speech on campus and mostly talked to guys that started hitting on us. Always a pleasure😑. Then we met with some Catholic missionaries who are interested in learning about family history. Then we had another lesson with cute little N. And guess what! I found a frozen yogurt place that isn't by weight! You can shove as much as you can into the cup, then pile toppings on, and it is always $3.25!!

Also story from last week. We were at a members house, and obviously I haven't seen The Greatest Showman, but the families little 3 year old runs up to me, yells "this is the greatest showwwwww!" And rips his shirt open and runs away😆 We were all almost in tears laughing and now I don't know what kind of movie y'all are obsessed with right now😂.

Thursday something happened and we just weren't mentally there. Some of our appointments fell through, which was probably actually good because we would have sounded like crazy people. We did have a good book of Mormon lesson with an investigator, and went to a family history thing that night.

Friday we had more dropped appointments and missing investigators. Our dinner appointment also canceled for the third time in a week. Highlight of the day though was we made friends with a group of little girls while in the ghetto. They took Jesus pictures and offered us pecans and played with our hair and rubbed some of my grape hand sanitizer in it. But they were soooo cute and they took pictures with us and I love them. They kept saying "You guys are really nice church people!" Felt good to be appreciated.

Saturday was pretty fun. We went to women's conference in Alexandria and was spiritually fed there. The talks were so good and I felt like I really needed them. Then the member we drove with wanted to stop at some stores afterwards so we picked up a few things too. Then we had a dinner appointment. Then we helped one of our favorite members bake a cake.

Sunday was awesome. We talked all about ministering and how this is like going from the mosaic law to the higher law and I love that. Then we had a lot luck which was a success. Then we visited a less active, then a sick member. Then we had dinner with the Defords and FHE with the Zachary's and we talked about the importance of recording your experiences.

Monday was proselyting Monday. But this one was actually pretty fun. We did Free Speech, then spent some time with E. Then we walked to deliver a Book of Mormon to this guy. He isn't interested in converting, but we will see about that. He is really cool. Then we visited a member and answered some of her questions about the book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is awesome guys. Then we had a dinner appointment with some fun people. We got transfer calls while there and everyone freaked out. They are taking the other sisters out, so it will just be me and Jensen here which I'm actually excited about. I don't have a ton of emotion either way, because I am just waiting to see how this all plays out. I am hopeful though.
