"Who was Tiny Tims dad? Bob Marley." (Week 30)

What's up y'all? This week was pretty good. We are just barely starting to see success after being doubled in. It's been a little rough but we are getting there.

Monday wasn't too crazy. Just hung out at the church and played trivial pursuit.

Tuesday we did district meeting, lunch, comp study. Then as we were making all these plans for people we were going to go see, we freaking got put on lockdown because of lightning and tornado watch!

Wednesday was interesting. We have been trying to stop by all the members houses to see how we can help them, or if they have friends that they can refer to us. Well we went to this one lady's house because it said she was a member. NOPE. She was a Jehovah's Witness! Our conversation developed into quite the bash. A bash every now and then is good because it tests your knowledge of the scriptures. We kept trying to bring it back to common ground, so that we could get out of there asap on a good note, but she wasn't having it. Kind of says something when it is the teenagers trying to keep the peace...

Thursday we had a really sweet experience at the senior center. We had met a lady lady week that works at the post office, and she told us to visit her mom. So we did and the post office lady was there! We got to know them and they are so sweet. We got talking about singing at funerals, and I mentioned that I had sang at my grandpa's funeral. She asked me how I could do that without going numb and crying, and I told her that it's because I know I will see him again someday. I feel him near, and because Jesus Christ broke the bands of death, all of us will live again with our lived ones someday. They both started crying and gave us hugs, and the daughter said she would take us out to lunch so we could talk some more so hey! New investigator!

Friday we were all over the place, doing area book, visiting members, trying potential investigators, and knocking some doors. No real stories from that. Then we had a dinner appointment way out in the woods, and it started pouring rain like nuts. It's like I'm in Louisiana or something lol. We had to wait it out a bit, then drove home in a lightning storm and it was really quite beautiful.

Saturday we had a really awesome lunch appointment with the relief society President, then a really stressful dinner appointment with the bishop.

Sunday we taught primary CTR 7 and it was a blast. We had the sassiest little kid in there. We also got a new investigator! Then that night we had two dinner appointments, and both of them were so fun! With our two favorite member families the Deford's and the Zachary's.

And that's my week!! Hope y'all are doing great! Thank you for all the support! God loves you, and I love you too!!

Out of context quotes;

"Who was Tiny Tim's dad? Bob Marley."

"Take one down, pass it around. 99 potential investigators who hate us."

"Since when was Elijah a terrorist?"

"I can only speak ghetto when I'm in the ghetto."
