I don't even have an out of context quote I'm just so excited about conference! (week 29)

FRIENDS AND FAMILY IN THE LAYTON AREA ARE YOU JUST SO EXCITED ABOUT THE TEMPLE BECAUSE I AM!! But first my week;)

Monday was way fun! We had lunch with a member family. The food was fantastic, and they have the most amazing house on the river. After lunch we sat out on the dock in the sun. Then we went shopping on French street, then did some more chilling by the river there. Then we had a FHE that night.

Tuesday we had what's called mega district meeting, where we meet with like 14 missionaries. I was lucky enough to give the instruction. I talked about how the holy ghost can turn a feeling into a knowledge. Then that night we went to a relief society family history thing because we had some people that were supposed to come, but even though they didn't, I still had fun catching some spirit of Elijah.

Wednesday we started with service at the genealogy center. Still on that family history high. Then we had to take our car into the shop for oil change and stuff like that. So while they were working on that we decided to walk around and talk to people, and we gave out some pass along cards. Then it started pouring rain, so we had to run back to the shop through the already flooded parking lot. Then we were on flood and tornado watch the rest of the day so we did work in the apartment.

Thursday was pretty boring. We tried to contact some potentials, tracted, no luck. We did have tacos for dinner which was great.

Friday we did service at an old folks home. Then the Bishop asked us to go help a member clean her house. While we were working, the lady started having a little trouble breathing, which caused her to have a panic attack, so we sat and talked to her and tried to calm her for a few hours. She was shivering and struggling to talk. We later found out that it was because she had a virus. When we got home, we were sitting in our car for a bit, then our crazy neighbor came and knocked on our window, said something incoherent, and left a full thing of Crisco by our car๐Ÿ˜‚

Saturday was GENERAL CONFERENCE which was bomb. We watched at a members house, and the spirit was amazing. All the talks were just great! Can't wait to read them all! That night we had two dinner appointments, one of them was pretty aggravating, but it's all good.

Sunday more GENERAL CONFERENCE!!! AND LAYTON IS GETTING A TEMPLE!!! I'm so excited!! I had kind of given up hope when the built the hospital in that field, but now I get both!! I'm also excited for Russia and India and all the other ones;) Really the spirit I felt during conference was so amazing. I almost started crying when sustaining President Nelson. I learned a lot about forgiveness, love, the holy ghost, the atonement, and active participation in church. I know that these leaders are called of God. I am so grateful to be a member of the Lord's church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I hope I never take it for granted, and I hope the same for all of you. And if you don't know if it is true, I promise you that you can know for yourself. Just ask. I love you all so much!! Talk to you next week!
