"You need to find a guy that you look at him and say 'alabaster.'" (Week 27)

Hi family and friends! How is everyone? Things are getting shaken up here. We got transfer calls yesterdsy. Knuteson is going to Slidell with Sister Andres, and I am going to Natchitoches with Sister Long. I served around Long for a bit in Baton Rouge, so not a complete stranger this time. But let me tell you about my week.

Monday was pretty much all spent on Knuteson's hair. She got a hair cut, then we went through a long dying process, and it didn't turn out. At this point we need to stop or her hair will fall out.

Tuesday was my 6 MONTH MARK! And to celebrate I gave the instruction in district meeting. Yay😑. Jk it was fun. We also went to the relief society enrichment night thing. It was pretty chill. With the wards combining, it was nice to have all the ladies there getting to know each other. But then someone fell and the paramedics were called so that was less fun.

Wednesday and Thursday were pretty boring. Knuteson felt sick. We did get to volunteer with the inmates again, and had a really cool comp study. Then we went to a dinner appointment at this restaurant that has karaoke, and they made us get up, and let me tell you... We sucked.

Friday was Manna House, lunch with the Verchers, area book digitizing, getting ready for inspections etc. Then this accapella group came over to the Green's house for a party and they treated us to a little concert. They are doing a youth event for the stake tomorrow and that is why they came.

Saturday I sang at a funeral. The funeral homes are a little different here. They have a little room with the piano and microphones in the back, so you don't even see those providing the music. It was kind of cool actually. Then that night we went the accapella concert for a bit. Sadly our youth age investigator didn't end up coming, and we were having kind of a hard day that night, so we went to get ice cream at Wal-Mart. Knuteson bought pickles with her ice cream, which is the stereotypical pregnant woman combo, so I'm worried about her (Lol not really).

C came to church on Sunday! And she got through all three hours! We went to youth Sunday school and young women's with her, that was a fun little throwback. Then President decided to start transfer calls on Sunday! We were agonizing for hours while trying to get our work done. They only did leadership calls though so we didn't get one.

Monday morning Knuteson started packing because she was just that sure she was being transferred, and I worked on the area book while she did that. Then we visited some people and went to a dinner appointment. There the wait for the transfer calls continued. It was fun for the lady we were eating with to watch us stress. She was a missionary so she gets it. Finally we got the call at home. Knuteson with Andres and me with Long. We will see how this goes, but I am hopeful:) This is a really awesome area. I love the ward and we are working with some really amazing people, but they should be left in good hands. I look forward to seeing what is in store!

I love you all! Thank you for all the support!
