"You can't all be aware that I am alive, and me still end up the loser!" (Week 25)

Hello again! How are my humans? I've been good. The weather has been so beautiful here, which honestly just makes me worry about the impeding summer. (Don't think about that Danielle. You will be fine.) Anyway so here's my week;

Monday was finally a really fun P-day. We did the email thing, then we went to lunch with two fun sisters from the ward. They have little kids and they were going NUTS but honestly that made it more fun. Then we drove around and found some cool places to take pictures. Some actually turned out! Then we had a dinner appointment with some people with a famous bathroom.

Tuesday we had zone conference, and that was pretty fun:) I sang Come Thou Fount. I think it went well. The instruction given was really good. I loved President's talk about joy and missionary work. We also had a really awesome comp study session.

Wednesday and Thursday were boring. A lot of driving, digitizing the area book, and writing letters to relief society ladies. We did teach institute and it was only kind of really awkward.

Friday we had exchanges, and it was actually way fun! I went down to Leesville with Sister Trussel. We went to lunch together before we split. Then I painted her some pelicans while she digitized her area book. Then she had the idea to go tracting with music, so that is what we did:) She played her ukulele while I sang I Am A Child Of God. It was pretty fun. Kind of crazy thing though; we knocked on the door of some army people having a barbecue, and they invited us in and we sang to them around their campfire. They were funny. Probably drunk. One girl recorded us singing, and they kept asking us if we had more songs, so we sang a few more hymns. Then they asked us about what we are doing and why were were doing it (missionary work), and we were able to testify of the blessing of the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives, and we want to share it with others:) Then we came home, made dinner, and had our own little jam session.

Saturday we helped paint the lattice work on the bishop's house, and then they fed us nachos that were surprisingly amazing because Sister Stock is a ninja with salsa.

Sunday we did the double church thing. We also taught gospel principles with zero notice, but it actually went fantastic. Two of our investigators came! Then my back seized up and I couldn't move without wanting to cry for a good while. I'm fine now.

So that's my week:) I hope everyone is doing well! I'd love to hear from more of you! Missionaries love emails😊 Jesus loves you! And I love you too!!

Out of context quotes:

You can't all be aware that I am alive, and me still end up the loser!

You put beef flavor into beef? Why?!

Isn't this just turtles fighting a blender?

I don't feel cute enough to have a beard.
