"Why did you marry her if you hate her?" "I loved her at the time but I gave that up for lent." (week 28)

Herro herro everyone! I'm in Natchitoches! (which weirdly enough is pronounced nah-ka-dish) It is a little beautiful historic town way out there. Should be fun. It isn't perfect, but perfect would be real boring for missionary work.

Tuesday we packed and did the whole goodbye process. It was hard telling the ward that it is actually all four of the missionaries leaving, instead of two like we thought. We went out to lunch with a group of members, then the Green's threw us a party that night and a bunch of people came over. It was fun. I really didn't get long in Alexandria🙁.

Wednesday was transfers, and it was weird. Instead of everyone going to the church in Baton Rouge, some sisters came to our house, and one stayed with me and one took Knuteson. Then we got that sisters companion, and I chilled with them for a few hours till they brought my companion. SISTER LONG IS A CLOSET THEATRE NERD! I had no idea. I am going to see how much I can bring our her geek side. Things should work out just fine. Also she is 5'0".

Thursday we unpacked (we got to Natchitoches at about 9 the night before), and got to know each other. Then we went with our roommates (Also btw I'm in a quad) to meet some members and to a dinner appointment at the Zachary's. They have the most amazing house ever, and are really funny.

Friday we had district meeting. That was pretty fun to get to know everyone. Then we did more figuring out our crap. Then we went to a mission call open for a girl in the ward. She is going to Brazil:) Then we had FHE with some other members.

Saturday we met some more members, and worked on reading the records for and calling ALL of the people the other sisters were working with. Then we didn't have a dinner appointment, and we don't have any food, so we called up some members and asked if we could come over for dinner, and they said it'd be great and we had the grandest time with them. Them and their kids are amazing! Then they send us home with some more food for the rest of the week and I am telling you, they are going straight to heaven.

Church was pretty stressful because there is a certain leader that doesn't trust missionaries, so I felt really crappy. But someone brought us lunch, then we went to talk to a less active lady that is related to Parley P. Pratt and we got homemade ice cream. Then we went to FHE at the Zachary's and had a really spiritual and fun time. We talked about the importance of the scriptures, and the sacrifices made so that we could have them readily available. So read your scriptures!!!

I love you all!! Keep me updated!! The church is true!!
