"Johnny Depp is a cheese fart!!" (Week 15)

Hello family and friends!! I hope y'all had a very merry Christmas! I sure did! I got to talk to my family and that was AWESOME! This morning I am finally doing a session and the temple and I'm pretty excited about that, but that means that I don't have much time so I will try to make this as quick as I can, but knowing me it will probably still be pretty long.

Last Tuesday was P-day because of transfers, and I already talked about that last week. Sister Maynard got a transfer call, so the rest of that day we signed transfer journals, said goodbye to ward members, and she packed.

Wednesday was transfers. I got Sister Bell:) She is kind of quite at first, so it was kind of hard to tell how the next 7 weeks were going to go at first. But since then we have been chatting a lot, and we laugh and work well together and communicate and get along great! Turns out she actually went to Junior High with me for a year, but she is two years older than me, so I never knew her. Wednesday we mostly visited some less actives, specifically J that is currently in a maximum security mental hospital. That was pretty fun. J is always a blast.

Thursday we did service and some unpacking and more visiting and an FHE with our investigator and the ward mission leaders family. That went great.

Friday we had district meeting in Gonzo. Then we tried some former investigators, and re-activated one as an investigator!!

Saturday we went to help a lady move. When we pulled up we got a text saying, "If there is a white car in my driveway, don't stop." Turns out she got a restraining order against her abusive husband, and he had been stalking her. We had to wait down the street for a while, while the cops came and made him leave. That was fun.

Sunday was Christmas Eve! We had a fabulous sacrament meeting. Then that night we didn't really have anywhere to eat dinner, so the Spanish missionaries invited us to come with them to this nice Columbian woman's house. She is so funny. They were all slipping in and out of Spanish, and I just sat there an nodded. She actually thought that I spoke Spanish, and was talking to me for a while before one of the Elders stopped her. I had so much fun:)

Then Monday was Christmas!!!!! I got to open presents and we went to brunch at a members house and played games and I GOT TO TALK TO MY FAMILY!! It is kind of weird because I email them every week, so it's like I talk to them all the time. But it was nice to see their faces:) Families can be together forever and the church is true!! It was a little tearful having to say goodbye, but I'm good now.

Then Tuesday we had another district meeting. Then we visited Michelle because it was her birthday! She got all sorts of birthday packages, and she gave us all the stuff she didn't want; like almonds and Chapstick and a decorative fan. She is a funny person. Bless her heart.

Yeah wow that was a lot longer than I thought it would be. But it was a pretty cool week and I wanted to tell y'all about it. I love you and miss you and hope that you have a fantastic new year!!! LOVE YOU!!!
